Message from the President
Dear Members,
I am happy to announce that the Union and the Town of Oyster Bay have come to an agreement for the 2024 raise. We worked diligently to get an additional $2,000 increase for all full-time employees. Despite our efforts, we were unable to get this retroactive to January. However, it does get added into your salary and is pensionable.
Please remember that we will begin to collect personal emails and contact numbers for all members. So if you do not have an email address, please create one. This will help us tremendously with dispersing important information quickly while we travel throughout the membership explaining everything in full detail. Additionally, as a reminder, scholarship applications are available. Please make sure to get them in by the deadline.
May is CSEA Member Appreciation Month. While we are out in the membership, don’t be surprised to be asked to pose for photos not only for our social media and website, but also CSEA State and Long Island Region One. We want to show everyone Town of OysterBay’sLocal 881 has the BEST members in the state.
We wish every mother a very Happy Mother’s Day and hope that everyone takes a bit of time from their Memorial Day BBQ to remember and honor all the military lives we lost.
